I don’t know life without my older sister, Christina. When I was younger, I copied her every move and wanted to be exactly like her. Not much has changed as I still value her opinion and validation above everyone else. I am so fortunate to have a stylish, smart, and sensitive sister by my side. We are so different from each other, but what connects us is our sense of humor, mannerisms, and an innate instinct to always protect each other. She has taught me to stand up for myself, guided me to make the right decisions, and made me the person I am today.

We've been through it all - from biking around Hacienda as kids to drifting the mean streets. I wouldn't be where I am or who I am today if it wasn't for Andy. Contrary to his serious demeanor, lies a goofy, silly and comedic individual that can make light of any situation. We always enjoy making everything a competition, matching each other shot-for-shot in every sport we play. It's probably why we became as close as we are. I'm lucky to have a friend as loyal and compassionate as him.

No one knows me better than my bestie, Clare. The longest we ever went without talking was two days and we were both distraught. You may never truly understand how obsessed we are with each other, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. She is the most loyal friend, unapologetically true to herself, and someone I can always depend on. Clare is wickedly intuitive, independent, and hilarious. She has taught me to let go of things I can't control and reminds me that I’m loved when I’m not feeling lovable.

Reuben's brain is like the 5 freeway - lots of lanes, lots of traffic, lots of exits. He's constantly thinking about the next thing and always challenging the status quo. Though sometimes excessive, I'm grateful for him the way he is for this reason. Those thoughts are fueled by his drive and passion which are incomparable. He reminds me that, in life, there isn't always a single, correct answer, and don't dwell on it - just keep moving.

Irene has always been my voice of reason, mediator, and the most understanding person who always puts others before herself. She is hands down the most chill person I ever met, a tomboy at heart in the best way, and caring to a fault. From staying in watching Harry Potter marathons to staying out all night and coming home as the sun rises, Irene was the best college roommate a girl could ask for. Her compassion taught me to understand different perspectives and molded me to become a better person. Don’t let her small frame and angelic face fool you, she can out drink anyone I know and never turns down a spontaneous adventure!

I remember biking to his house, hiking up to the "top of the world", and hitting golf balls into the ravine. Chris is a planner by nature and when things don't go according to plan, he always has a trick up his sleeve. He's keen on anticipating risks and quick to adapt, but his creativity is what sets him apart. Whether drawing or freestyling, though unclear at first, you slowly start to see the masterpiece he had in mind all along.

Bianca is the life of the party and lights up any room she walks into. Her contagious laughter and bubbly personality make it easy to love and adore her. She has the biggest heart and is always down to drop everything in her life to be there for her friends. Bianca is a makeup guru, easy-going, and effortlessly funny. She taught me to not take life so seriously, helped me grow from my mistakes instead of dwelling on them, and never fails to make me laugh.

The first time we met was actually in a 2-on-2 fist fight in middle school (we won). I think that moment may have defined who he is today. He'll never back down to a challenge and argue endlessly to prove his point. His convictions never waver and is what makes him the dependable person he is. Don't let his nice and calm exterior fool you, when it matters, there's nothing that can intimidate him.

Lauren is blunt and always keeps it real, which I always admired about her because we share that in common. She played a pivotal role during the growing pains in our early 20’s because coincidentally we went through similar life paths together in terms of our career, self-discovery, and love. From job hunting to getting hired at the same time, living our best single life together, and then getting into a relationship within the same month, I am grateful to have shared this journey with her. Lauren is the most reliable, ambitious, and hard-working person I know. She helped me realize my full potential in life and pushed me to stay motivated during a time of self-doubt.

From golfing to gaming to partying, the word to describe Kenny is relentless. He'll continuously call you out for the smallest of things and make sure you hear it multiple times just to get under your skin. There is no bet he won't take and I admire his level of confidence - though sometimes overzealous. Under his intimidating exterior is a thoughtful and caring grizzly bear. He won't hesitate to act and is always there to offer a helping hand.
