What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at Iron Gate by 5:15 pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is cocktail attire. For those wearing heels, the floor is mostly made of brick.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your children, we want our wedding to be a time for you to fully relax and enjoy without the responsibilities of parenting for the evening.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The Courtyard Washington, DC Dupont Circle and the Tabard Inn are both located directly across the street from our venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

If you choose to stay at the Courtyard Washington, DC Dupont Circle, you can simply walk across the street to Iron Gate. If you stay elsewhere, we recommend taking Ubers to and from our wedding.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is extremely limited in the Dupont Circle area. There are several garages close by, but be sure to check their times of operation as some may not be open on Sunday or late into the night. We strongly encourage taking Uber or another ride share.
