Directions

Please let us know closer to the time if you have space in your car so we can minimise the number of cars going down From Durban - Approx 7 hours Take the N2 to Mthatha (Umtata) and continue on towards East London After 20km take the Coffee Bay/Mqanduli exit Continue on this road for 80km and you will arrive in Coffee Bay. From PE - Approx 8 hours Take the N2 towards Mthatha (Umtata) 20km BEFORE Mthatha take the Coffee Bay/Mqanduli exit (off-ramp to the left and then turn right under the bridge) Continue on this road for 80km and you will arrive in Coffee Bay. Notes: DO NOT USE GOOGLE FOR THE COFFEE BAY TURN OFF The road is tarred the whole way, however it has quite a few potholes after about half-way, so drive carefully and plan to arrive in daylight. Keep an eye out for stray animals and pedestrians.
