Trami and James's friendship spans over three decades, beginning in kindergarten where they first connected on the swings, singing "A Whole New World." Their bond deepened post-college when Trami returned from UCSD, becoming one of the first people James confided in about his true self. Since then, Trami has been a steadfast supporter of James's ventures, from culinary school to beauty school. Their roles in each other's lives have come full circle: James stood by Trami as her Man of Honor, and now, Trami proudly stands by James as his Matron of Honor. Their enduring friendship is a testament to love, support, and shared dreams.

Binh and Sameena first met in 2002 while working for the San Francisco Department of Public Health, doing community health outreach throughout the Bay Area. From late nights dancing at the Warfield to unforgettable weekends at Coachella, their friendship has been filled with joy, laughter, and music. Even when life took Sameena across the country for grad school, their bond never wavered. Binh proudly claims to have visited every city she’s called home—Berkeley, Oakland, Philadelphia, Chicago, and New York. Through life’s highs and lows, they’ve stood by each other with unwavering support. Binh was by Sameena’s side as one of her best friends on her wedding day. Now, she’s honored to return the gesture, standing proudly beside Binh as he embarks on this next chapter. Seeing the way James so lovingly cares for both Binh and his mother, Sameena knows her best friend is in good hands. She can’t wait to celebrate Binh’s happiness this November.
