FAQs

The Wedding Website of Alynda Boonyachai and James Giblin
Question

Can I bring my minor (under 18 years of age) children?

Answer

While we love your children, our wedding is an adults-only event (21+).

Question

Are there public transit options in the area?

Answer

There is no comprehensive bus/subway system on the Cape. Uber and Lyft are also very limited. If you are staying at Hotel 1620, everything is within comfortable walking distance. Plan accordingly, and don't drink and drive!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather on Cape Cod can be very unpredictable. While we anticipate pleasant weather, plan to bring a sweater and light rainproof jacket for any unexpected rain and cold, especially in the evenings.

Question

Where can I park my car?

Answer

Not in the Harvard Yard! There is free parking at the venue for guests booking their stay with Hotel 1620.

Question

How do I get from the airport in Boston/Providence to Cape Cod?

Answer

Plan to rent a vehicle. The drive from Logan International Airport in Boston to Cape Cod can be up to 2.5 hours depending on traffic. The drive from TF Green Airport in Providence, RI to Cape Cod is 1 to 1.5 hours. An Uber/Lyft or private car service from Logan Airport to Cape Cod costs roughly $200+ one-way. If you choose this option, it may be worthwhile to coordinate your trip with another guest(s), and schedule your return trip to the airport in advance. If you would like car service recommendations, let us know!

Question

Can I rent an AirBnB for my large group?

Answer

AirBnBs can be quite costly, and September is still considered "high season" on Cape Cod. There will likely be limited availability, with limited travel options to and from the venue. Check the "Travel" section of this website for information about hotel options with our custom booking links.
