We're getting married!

On Thursday, September 13, Nick and Alisha left Atlanta to travel to the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. The weekend was something Alisha had planned weeks in advance to celebrate his 30th birthday. They both love the mountains, so it was the perfect getaway for a relaxing, kid-free weekend. "We always take the scenic route: the views are breathtaking, the country general stores are fun stops, and there's a chance to see wildlife. After making our first stop to buy some fresh peaches, kettle corn, and drinks, we ended up seeing a field full of elk! My trip was made after that, or so I thought." - Alisha Nick stopped the car at an overlook with the most beautiful view one could imagine: mountains in the distance, colorful flowers, and the sunset. Nick asked Alisha to take an "artistic" picture of the mountains with his phone. She took some time to capture the "perfect" picture for him, and when she turned around to show him, he was down on one knee with a ring box in hand. She said YES!
