That's the question of the century! Our wedding will be as soon as James can find a job in the Republic of Ireland and we can find a reasonable flight to get him out to the States.
Because everything is dependent on James getting a new job, and we have no clue when that will be, we know it'll be a struggle for us to get invitations out so that you can get the day booked, LAST MINUTE, for our wedding. We want to celebrate with you, but we also want to have time to host you, so we are throwing a reception sometime after the wedding.
We will be temporarily be moving to the Republic of Ireland, because it is the cheapest of our options and the only one where we can enjoy married life together, instead of separated, for the first year of our marriage. Our long-term plan is to move back to the States. In fact, because we would be applying from outside the country, the US Spousal Visa should come in faster than if I was applying within the country.
I thank you so much for wanting to do that for us! We wish that we could nest and get our house here set up, but what we need before we can do that is a US Spousal Visa. We have a UK Gift List, that you can browse through, just keep in mind that the exchange rate makes the cost a bit higher. We don't want to haul things to Ireland only to bring it back to the States.
