James and I met on a September afternoon in 2016. I’d locked my key in my car, AGAIN, and he helped my brother, John, retrieve it. I couldn’t look at him as my father introduced us,(apparently they had known each other for months!), because he was too cute for me. James later said when he first saw me, he heard a voice say: “That’s her.” It took me a little bit longer to say yes to him! We stated dating a few months later in November, and by our 3rd date, I knew he was it for me.
