FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

June 1, please. If you are having trouble with your RSVP, let us know!

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Wedding day attire is black tie for men, formal cocktail for women (tea-length to floor-length dresses, but feel free to rock a pop of colour/pattern). The ceremony is located outside, so we recommend flats, wedges or chunky heels -- you'll have a tough time in stilettos on the grass.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children, but we’d like you to join in the celebration and enjoy a night off. We’re requesting that the kiddos be left with a sitter. We are happy to put you in touch with other parents with kids your age, if you would like to organise a group sitter.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

No -- we recommend taking an Uber/Lyft to the ceremony. We will be transporting guests from the ceremony to the reception, so no need to worry!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will be serving everything family style, so please use the RSVP to let us know of any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be hosting a welcome party on the Friday night (July 15) and a send-off brunch the morning after the wedding. We will also be in town the week leading up to the wedding, and would love to see you in Portland! Please check see the "Things to Do" tab for activities we have planned that week and other recommendations of what to do in the area.

Question

Are their COVID-19 protocols we should be aware of?

Answer

Currently Oregon has lifted their indoor mask mandates except in health care settings, and some local businesses who are choosing to require them. We are closely monitoring and will provide any necessary updates of the guidance posted by the Oregon Health Authority, found here https://govstatus.egov.com/OR-OHA-COVID-19?gclid=CjwKCAjwur-SBhB6EiwA5sKtjmSbE5FqQdO1xrQBioz1K98XN2DcjFCJktYT8tLsmISe4dS2vEze8xoCFGsQAvD_BwE.

Question

Do we need a negative COVID test to travel to Portland?

Answer

The CDC will no longer require air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight. You must be fully vaccinated with the primary series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine to travel to the United States by plane if you are a non-U.S. citizen, non-U.S. immigrant. The CDC does recommend testing prior to and 3-5 days after travel to ensure you did not contract the virus. For additional information regarding travel please see the CDC website at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/.
