Getting There

St. John’s is accessible by air, sea, and land, though most guests will be flying in. • By Air: St. John’s International Airport (YYT) is the main hub for flights into the city. Direct flights are available from several major Canadian cities, including Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax, as well as some U.S. locations. If you’re flying internationally, you may need to connect through one of these hubs. • By Car: If you’re planning a road trip or are already in the province, St. John’s is located on the Avalon Peninsula, connected by the Trans-Canada Highway. The drive offers beautiful views, so take your time and enjoy the journey! • By Ferry: For those arriving by ferry, Marine Atlantic offers service between North Sydney, Nova Scotia, and Port aux Basques, Newfoundland. If you’re traveling from the mainland, this is a scenic and enjoyable option.
