Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

This is a very exciting day that we would love to share with all of our family and friends. However, to stay within our budget and maintain a safe social distance, we can only accommodate those listed on the invitation.

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an opportunity for our adult guests to relax, sip, smoke cigars if they choose while enjoying the ambience on the lake. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time for your children so that you can celebrate with us.

What is the dress code?

Answer

This is a semi-formal wedding. Black-tie and cocktail dress attire is welcomed but we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

What will the weather be like at this time of year?

Answer

October 16, 2021 will be a beautiful day for our wedding! At this time of the year, temperatures range from degrees in the 50's to the mid-70's. Although chances of precipitation are low, we are prepared for rain as well.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors. The reception and afterparty will be indoors. All events will occur at the same venue.

What will occur between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Immediately following the ceremony, the wedding party will be guided off to take photos. While we are away, our guests will enjoy a cocktail hour by the lake accompanied by live music. All guests will be provided a complimentary drink ticket which may be used at this time.

What do I do if I can't attend?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

We are relieved to have a venue with a parking lot that has plenty of free parking space. You will find parking easily accessible at the entrance of the venue.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

We are providing a full plated meal (banquet style) for our guests during the reception, and a mini bar will be available as well. Please submit any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so that we can relay this information to the venue's chef. No outside food or beverages will be allowed.

Are there hotels in the area?

Answer

Yes, there are several hotels within 10 minutes of the venue including Holiday Inn Express, Hyatt Place, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Fairfield Inn & Suites.
