We first met on the Bumble Dating App. Jamela swiped right on Matthew's profile, and we both clicked with each other. Our first date was a simple movie date, after which Jamela answered yes to Matthew as her boyfriend. We dated for a year, and travelled to different places in the UK and abroad. We attended occasions, celebrations and events in the UK and abroad with our family, close friends and work colleagues. On September 19, 2023, Matthew proposed to Jamela on her birthday in Bath and she answered "yes". We flew to the Philippines last July 2024 to celebrate the 90th birthday of Jamela's grandmother and also to meet Jamela's family. Jamela's family gave their blessings to Matthew. We had our intimate civil wedding last October 19, 2024 in Truro Registration Office witnessed by our close family and friends.
