Our first date was April 21st, 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. Places to meet up in person were scarce. After hitting some roadblocks at each destination, we finally decided on a walk in the Kings Grant development in Marlton, NJ. We gratefully embraced in a warm hug and had our last first kiss. The sun was shining and we both had sparkles in our eyes and big smiles. Over the course of our 6 mile walk the weather turned from breezy to windy. By the time we were close to our starting destination it started to torrential downpour ice cold rain, thunder, and lightening. It is true we started out our relationship in the middle of a storm, but as long as we are together we will remain in the eye of the storm, then all is calm.
