We met at a downtown Tucson bar called Hotel Congress. Brennan had been wanting to talk to me, but was nervous until his buddy convinced him to come over. We talked for a few minutes and then I dragged him out on the dance floor. He said, "I am going to do something crazy." The crazy thing that came next was our first kiss. The bar was closing soon and he mentioned he was leaving to Germany in a couple months. I said we could be pen pals. *haha He said we can exchange numbers, its 2014. The next morning he calls at 8:00am to get together after fireworks that evening. After that night we were completely inseparable. Not even 5,664 miles could keep us apart. We started a long distance relationship and as hard as it was it made our relationship and love so much stronger.

Brennan worked for weeks to get my family and friends to dinner at Wildflower to surprise me for my birthday. I had no idea that this was happening and I almost didn't go because our kids were tired and being a little bit naughty. He was calm, cool, and convinced me to go and everything would be fine. I walked through the doors and saw my parents, his parents, and some of our closest friends. I cried and had never felt so special. Before we ordered food he wanted to stand up and thank everyone for coming. He got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I said yeah and corrected myself and said YES! Brennan has always been so fantastic at surprising me and making me more loved today than I did yesterday.
