Kiara and Jamal met through a chance encounter at their place of employment, Movement School. Kiara was providing coaching during a small group session and Jamal was in her group. Thinking nothing of it, both of them happened to be looking for companionship on Facebook Dating. They both swiped right on each other and began an interesting conversation. As the conversations carried on, Jamal recognized Kiara from their job and they laughed about the coincidence. After a couple of dates, things seemed to drift apart. There was some growth needed as individuals. Fast forward to the following summer, meeting once again during training, the spark between them reignited. Witty and playful banter back and forth in the hallways until the end of the session. They began to have more phone conversations with Jamal, shooting his shot. He asked several times before Kiara gave in on August 24th, 2024. Thus began the melding of hearts, learning each other, and supporting a new future.
