In Islam, there are certain boundaries between men and women who aren’t immediate family members (siblings, parents, children). One of those boundaries is that we don’t shake hands, hug, or have physical contact with the opposite gender. It’s a way for us to honor one another and show respect.

Is there a hashtag we can use to share photos & videos from the Nikkah?

In the spirit of intimacy and respect for the couple’s wishes, we won’t be using a public hashtag to share photos or videos. Instead, memories will be gathered like petals in a private garden within our WhatsApp group, where love and laughter can bloom quietly among us. You’ll be welcomed into this space once your RSVP is confirmed!
