The story of these two love birds started back in 1997 when Jamaal, originally from DC, transferred to Stafford Senior High School in Fredericksburg, VA. After a few stares across the cafeteria table and bumping into each other at the lockers, Mickeia and Jamaal were drawn to each other. In summer of 1998, Mickeia left for Hampton University while Jamaal furthered his studies in Fredericksburg. After ripping and running up and down the I-95 highway for four years, Jamaal proposed to Mickeia in April 2002. Five quick months later, on Sept. 7 th , 2002, the two officially tied-the- knot. The Jacksons are best friends focused on having a healthy, happy, supportive, and FUN marriage! Blessed with three children on Earth: Xavier (Superman), Symone, and Bailey and two watching over in heaven (Mekhi and Elijah).
