On December 19th 2007, Jon was a comedic panelist at "the Edwin Li Show" speaking on hard hitting questions and charging people $10 to watch. Jon's friend Bonnie was in attendance with her new travel buddy Michelle. The two ladies had just got back from Europe not too long before, and Bonnie thought the show would be fun... boy were they wrong. Not only did Michelle not enjoy the show, she lost ten whole dollars, and that was that. On January 24th 2008 Bonnie brought Michelle to a tiki bar to celebrate Jean's birthday. Jon was in attendance with some hot new hot fire for his upcoming mix tape. He let Michelle hear one of these tracks. She was nice enough to tell him she liked it even though she couldn't hear it over the music at the bar. During the next few months Michelle and Jon became Facebook friends and chatted on AIM. That's America Online Instant Messenger. The rap game and the comedy bookings weren't working out for Jon, but when things started to turn around with the break dancing, the first thing Jon did was invite Michelle to see "the Incredible Hulk" that June, on what would be their first not date. It wasn't until Oct 15th, 2008 when Jon and Michelle became an actual couple. She had wanted to make it official in September, but Jon thought there were far too many birthdays that week. In the fifteen years since they have been supporting each other through thick and think. Be it her getting her master's from San Jose State, or him doing really well in his improv class. Her taking on 100+ patients as a Social Worker at a dialysis clinic, or him straight killin' it at karaoke. They've loved and lost and traveled the world together. They continue to open each others hearts and minds to new experiences. And now they're getting married.
