We unexpectedly met through a mutual friend during a night out in November 2017 — just a fun evening with no big expectations. We were in a nightclub, the music was loud, the drinks were flowing, and the vibez were definitely vibing. Jalisa (yes, she made the first move!) approached Kenneth, and from there, the connection took off. We didn’t start dating right away, though. Instead, we stayed in touch and built a solid friendship that would later become the foundation of something much more. Fast forward to December 2021: we reconnected, sparks flew (again), and by March 2022, we made it official. Our first date? A highly competitive night of playing Tunk and talking trash — true romance, right? We quickly bonded over card games, laughter, and who could win the most without being a sore loser (still up for debate). Three years and many game nights later, on our anniversary, Kenneth pulled the ultimate trump card — a proposal at Chateau Elan. And of course, Jalisa said yes! Now here we are, ready to shuffle the deck and start this next chapter together. Game on.
