We decided on forever!!!!

We first met at Avenue Blue. My Godbrother Corey hosted a bday party for Jamal and randomly invited me. He introduced us and that was it. We didnt pay each other much attention until the end of the night. Jamal kept picking at me and trying to argue so we spent most the night just bickering back and forth. Fast foward a couple weeks we saw each other again at Corey’s wedding. We started talking again and slowly started to get to know each other. After the wedding we kept talking. We went on a couple dates and hung out a few times. Jamal made it very clear that he didnt want a relationship, but after a very eventful weekend in DC he quickly changed his mind. And the rest is history!!!!

December 20th 2017 my best friend Corey threw me a party at Avenue Blue. So I’m there dancing and drinking with my friend Leandra.When Corey said he come meet my sister, “Herb this Jalessa, Jalessa this Herb”i said “Hey” and put my hand out to shake it and she gave me a bougie handshake “I was like what the hell”. But Jalessa had a smile that lit up the room. We had a blast ended up going to Waffle House after where we all eating laughing joking on Charniecce eating Jalessa eggs. Still don’t know how we got each other number but I’m glad we did..Couple weeks pass and we meet again at Corey wedding where they work the hell out of me. And who I see this big head woman who smile light up the room again. We talking and dancing I’m making her smile she making me smile.We starting talking more after the wedding she had got the flu and I had an abscess that kept us out of work for one day and we talk and text all day felt like I was in high school again. I decided to ask her out on a date to longhorn steakhouse where I was nervous so nervous I drop steak grease on my shirt. We had a great time after we went to my homie BIG birthday party and had a blast from then I knew I wanted her. After the DC trip which was Leandra birthday weekend and her friend Tonya birthday weekend too it seem like faith..SO Thanks to Corey & Big(especially who told it would happen) for this beautiful bossy strong woman who I hope forever take its time because every second with her mad or not has been pure happiness.
