We're getting married!

Jalen went to visit Kaitlin in February at her college apartment in Iowa in the middle of a winter cold front. As you can imagine, it was icy and cold. He braved the terrain and made it 3 hours north just to see her. Kaitlin took his car to class the next morning and totaled it on the way back home. Unfortunately, Jalen's dad had to make the trip to pick him up. Kaitlin was surprised he spoke to her again after that eventful weekend! After spending as much time as possible together, Covid sent their relationship into a speed run. They haven't looked back since!

On a family vacation the summer of 2023, Jalen and Kaitlin went on a cruise that would change their relationship in every way for the best. The islands were a dream and the dream didn't end when they stepped off the ship. On the last dinner, with AJ and Hannah's help, Jalen planned a special night. Jalen waited until dessert was served, stood up to make a speech, and eventually got down on one knee in front of Kaitlin's family to ask her to marry him. The dining room caught wind of what was going on and they stood up to see everyone around cheering them on. It was a moment no one would forget! They are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in their lives with you.
