We're getting married!

We met through our two close college friends. He was sweet and loving and I ghosted his text thinking he was to good to be true. A few months pass and he offers to be my DD that night when I was going to some house parties. That night at the party we hit it off and the rest is history.

I always told Jalen he was like my own personal lighthouse. In my darkest times he was there to shine light and lead me to better days. In Oklahoma City we happened across a lighthouse at Lake Hefner. We deemed that "our place". Throughout the years we would go to our spot and sit and watch the birds and boats go by. On January 4th, 2020 we were planning to go meet up with our friends and take Deja to the lighthouse for some family pictures. He surprised me by proposing in the most perfect place. This will forever be "our place".
