International Rose Test Garden

(located within Washington Park): What’s better than rows and rows of sweet-smelling roses? The garden boasts over 10,000 of the pretty things, in every color combination imaginable (over 650 varieties)! Wander around for a half hour or so, and be sure to actually stop and smell the roses.

Multnomah Falls

Being the tallest waterfall in all of Oregon state, this stop really should be any Portland itinerary, no matter how long or short. Looking up at the 600+ foot tall roaring cascade of icy water is awe-inspiring to say the least!

Powell's City of Books

Largest independent bookstore in the world and a Portland staple. Grab a map and spend a couple hours wandering through this maze of books.

South Waterfront Lower Tram Terminal

Best way to get a birds eye view of the city. This is a short ride (approx. 4 min) with trams leaving every 6 minutes. The round trip costs $4.70

McMenamins Kennedy School

And old school house that has been refurbished. This spot has a ton to do, including having a few cocktails and playing pool in the old Boiler Room, drinking in the Detention Bar, or eating in the Courtyard Restaurant.

Mount Tabor

Caitlin's backyard growing up and an extinct volcano. Amazing park with reservoirs, tennis courts, playgrounds and hiking. If you make it to the top you'll experience an amazing view of downtown Portland.

Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard

Fun street in Southeast Portland to wander. Here you'll find cute and unique shops, cool bars and amazing restaurants. If you make it here make sure to stop by the waffle window for a savory or sweet snack.
