We’re getting married!

His Side: I have had a HUGE crush on Adelle since I was 15, I would be too nervous to even say hi to her. I would tell my family, my friends, even my elder, that one day I would marry that girl. They would all tell me the same thing..."If you can't figure out how to talk to her you might as well give up." I would respond with "NEVER GIVE UP HOPE!!!" All it took was a global wide pandemic but I finally figured out a way to talk to her :). After years of not seeing her because of Covid, we both just so happened to be at the same skating party. I wish I could say that all the nerves went away the minute I saw her...but that would be a lie because I almost had a Heart Attack. BUT after 2 hours of skating and my friends giving me a literal push to go talk to her, we talked the rest of the night. After getting to know her more and more, and when we started having deep conversations, I knew I made the right decision by Not Giving Up HOPE!!!

Her Side: I've known Jalen liked me since we were 15 years old. I remember thinking of Jalen as a good friend but someone I would never EVER like. Through the years, things between us stayed the same... he liked me, I knew he liked me, and well, everyone knew Jalen liked Adelle. But something major changed everything. The pandemic hit, I moved to a foreign language group, and we lost contact for a few years. As restrictions lifted, I decided to attend a skating party. I saw Him after so long, something about him was so different and this was the first time he gave me butterflies. After some coaxing, Jalen finally got the courage to come skate next to me. I remember feeling nervous, excited and relaxed all at the same time. We skated and talked the rest of the night. As we got to know each other over time, I couldn't believe I had looked over such a diamond in the rough! He was right in front of me the whole time, just waiting for me to notice him. He's been my skating partner ever since!
