FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 14th, so we can finalize our guest count with vendors and seating arrangements. If we do not receive your RSVP by the requested date, we will unfortunately have to mark your response as a “No.” While we will truly miss celebrating with you, we are required to provide our final guest count by a specific deadline and are unable to accommodate late RSVPs. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. For women: midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elevated separates with dress shoes or heels. For men: dress pants or chinos paired with a button-down shirt; jackets, sport coats, and ties optional. Please avoid jeans, sneakers, and overly casual attire. We also ask that guests avoid colors reserved for the bride, such as white, ivory, and cream.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally listed on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be noted when you RSVP. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event. We want all of our guests to relax and enjoy an evening of dinner, drinks, and dancing. We hope this gives everyone plenty of time to make childcare arrangements.

Question

When and where is the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, located at 401 E Lampasas St, Ennis, TX 75119. The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 PM, so please plan to arrive early to find parking and seating.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

No, the ceremony and reception will be held at two different locations. After the ceremony at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Ennis, TX, we will continue the celebration at A Thousand Cedars in Scurry, TX. There will be a 2.5 hour break between events to allow time to relax, check in to hotels, or explore downtown Ennis.

Question

When and where is the reception?

Answer

Our reception will be held at A Thousand Cedars, located at 10511 FM 1388, Scurry, TX 75158. Cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 PM, followed by dinner and dancing.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available at the reception venue. A parking attendant will be on-site to help guide guests upon arrival. The lot is somewhat limited, so we kindly ask that you be mindful when parking. A golf cart will also be available to assist guests from the parking area to the venue if needed.
