Courtney and Josh met on a dating app called bumble. Courtney saw Josh's picture on bumble and knew she wanted a chance with him, so naturally she swapped right. The only problem was she did not message Josh until she was nudged by him 24 hours later. Once she messaged him and they spoke they decided to go on a first date on January 31, 2020. Both Josh's and Courtney's parents warned them that the person they are meeting could be a serial killer but fast forward many years later both Courtney and Josh are still alive and now getting married. After a night of arcade games and and witnessing a dine and dash at Applebees, they kept the night going with a drive to Long Beach where Josh asked Courtney to be his girlfriend on February 1, 2020. The rest is history, including a global pandemic, serving long distance, a move to Delaware, then to Maryland and then back to Delaware! Long story short, we survived!

While planning to attend a fall festival at Milburn Orchards, Courtney and Josh discussed taking some cute fall pictures, unbeknown to Courtney this would be the start of forever. Both Courtney's parents and Josh's parents and Sophia enjoyed the apple cider and the cool fall festivities this orchard had to offer. After some exploring and a walk through the corn maze, Josh asked Courtney to take some of those fall pictures she wanted in-front of a photo call stating "Love". After taking one nice picture, Josh whispered in Courtney's ear "I have to ask you something", after he knelt down on one knee and asked Courtney for her hand in marriage, to which she replied YES!
