It all started when I (McKenna) was going to college at Northern State University. A friend of mine convinced me to go to an Aberdeen Wings hockey game. I "didn't like hockey" and wasn't thrilled to be going... but boy was I in for a treat! I was surfing the roster at the game and noticed a guy from Alexandria, MN. I thought to myself "wow there aren't many people from around my hometown that go here!" Low and behold I look him up on Instagram (as teenagers do) and I follow him. Later the next day, I noticed he added me on Snapchat. We got to talking and decided to meet about 2 days later. We went for a drive and got ice cream (sorry mom and dad for getting into a strangers car). Ever since that evening, we have been in each other's lives. We cannot thank God enough for this relationship we have created. We are extremely excited to take this next step to strengthen the love we have for each other. We thank each one of you reading this for the love and support and we can't wait to celebrate together!
