Jakob and Devin met in the spring of 2023 through a mutual friend while playing co-ed volleyball and softball—neither particularly good, but both there to have fun. Their love really took off at a Morgan Wallen concert, where they realized they’d found something special. On August 10, 2025, Jakob proposed by the lake at Shabbona Lake State Park with sunflowers and photos from their favorite memories, and Devin happily said yes. When they’re not traveling or going to concerts, they love spending cozy time at home with their dog, Maggie.
