Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, unless specified on your invitation, we request that kids stay at home so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What's your COVID policy?

Answer

Jake: In order to protect our young and immunocompromised friends and relatives, we ask that all guests are fully vaccinated and boosted. Alex: If you are unwilling or unable to receive the COVID vaccine for any reason other than a medical necessity confirmed by your physician (yes, we’ll require a doctor’s note), then we’ll miss you at our wedding, but not that much. PLEASE take a COVID test before attending our wedding. If you curse us with a COVID mini-moon, we'll egg your house.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire! If you choose to wear heels, we recommend a block heel or wedge, as the ceremony site is on grass. The ceremony will take place outside, weather permitting, so be sure to dress appropriately for the season. The cocktail hour will take place both outside and in the heated barn, and the reception will be fully indoors. Anyone who arrives in a white outfit will be required to dye their outfit black, like their soul. We will supply the dye.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space and budget constraints, only guests invited by name on the invitation may celebrate with us on our wedding day.

Question

How do I RSVP and when is the deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is September 25, 2023. You can (and must!) RSVP online. If you do not RSVP online, but plan to attend the wedding, be prepared to bring a chair and a sandwich.

Question

Will transportation be provided to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, we will provide a shuttle for guests. Transportation will drop guests off at the Red Maple Vineyard ceremony site (hill top).

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

There is parking available for those who wish to drive. If using Google Maps, please type in Red Maple Vineyard (not the address). Follow signs up the hill for ceremony parking. Please arrive 30 minutes early to ensure enough time for everyone to be seated.

Question

Is the wedding wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The cocktail hour and reception location are wheelchair accessible. The ceremony location requires a short walk up a grassy hill. A golf cart will be available for those needing assistance up/down the hill from the reception pavilion. Please contact us at alexandjake375@gmail.com if you require assistance.
