On the first day of high school, Fall 2013, Jake and Tori walked into 6th period Spanish class; both being part of the select few non-bilingual students. Jake picked up the language quickly - while Tori seriously struggled. This opened the door for the two to start talking. A few weeks later, Jake gathered up the courage to send Tori a message through Facebook. They started texting back-and-forth day-in and day-out until they made their relationship official February 13th, 2013 (because waiting another day was just not an option for Jacob).

There's one thing everyone knows about Tori; she LOVES all things Disney. So, it's no surprise that Disneyland has always been a very special place. Back in high school, Jake asked Tori to prom in front of one of their favorite rides, The Matterhorn Bobsleds. When it came to proposing, Jake knew the perfect place to complete the fairy tale.
