Austin and Jakeline made a quick stop to Beal Park in Midland, wanting to look at a concrete-made turtle that was made by Austin and his work friends. The happy couple made their way to the duck pond, and reminisced about their early memories in friendship. Austin led Jakeline towards two beautiful trees, got down on one knee, and said “you wanna get married or something?” Jakeline giggled and responded “yeah or something!”

Austin and Jakeline were hired to work together in March of 2024. They didn’t become friends until almost a year later, when Jakeline approached Austin with cat-related topics. Their friendship grew quickly from there, and upgraded to a strong-bonded relationship in late July. Jakeline and Austin spent countless evenings hanging out in several different parks, or each other’s homes. They loved trying out different foods in many restaurants and finding fun activities to be in together around Midland.
