Eagle Lake Trail - a 1.9 mile, moderate out and back trail in South Lake Tahoe with a 459-foot elevation gain that leads you past waterfalls, creeks, lakes, granite peaks, and some of the Lake Tahoe Basin’s best views.

Skyline Trail is a unique hike that starts with a ride on the Heavenly Ski Resort Gondola, which takes you to the start of the 2-mile Skyline trail, as well as many other trails you can explore. With little elevation gain on foot (you scale most of it on the gondola ride), this is a great option for all hiking skill levels.
Sand Harbor State Park, located in North Lake Tahoe - One of the most popular and spectacular parks in the Tahoe basin, with a white sand beach, boat ramp, kayak & SUP rentals, and extraordinary rock formations. Located on Rt 28 on the east shore, just south of Incline Village. Tip: This is a very popular spot for locals and tourists, so get there early.
Emerald Bay State Park - A must-see view of Lake Tahoe from this iconic spot. Emerald Bay is located in the southwest corner of Lake Tahoe, a 50-minute drive from Truckee. There's hiking, kayaking, a beach, and waterfalls to explore.
