Welcome!

Jake and Valerie met while working together at The Hogue Cellars in Prosser, WA during the 2017 harvest. Valerie had graduated from college and moved north to Washington. Jake was a full-time cellar technician and attending college for Winery Technology. That season, Jake was assigned to train the interns (Valerie included) and they all quickly became friends while on group outings and during daily tasks at work. Excited to share the PNW, Jake planned a trip to Vancouver, BC. Walking through Stanley Park together, Jake and Valerie fell in love, talking and laughing for hours by the beautiful winter waterfront. It was only fitting that Jake took Valerie back to that waterfront to ask for her hand in marriage, years later.

Jake and Valerie live in the Walla Walla Valley in Washington and have lived here for four years. Jake has spent the last six months working in Napa Valley, CA and is completing a degree in Viticulture Technology. We plan to continue our work in the wine industry, the church and in the community. We're excited to start our family and continue building the life we've dreamed up together. We're so happy you'll be joining us for the beginnings of beautiful things to come!
