House Or Rental
Many of our guests will be staying together at Villa La Fonte, located just outside Florence. Due to limited accommodations, rooms at the villa will be assigned directly by the couple. Guests staying at the villa will receive additional information regarding check-in, transportation, and room assignments closer to the wedding.
Train
“Santa Maria Novella” is the main train station in Florence (about 2.5 miles from the villa).
Flight
To reach the villa from the airport of Florence (FLR), the best way is either by rental car/van, private driver or taxi. Taxis usually charge a flat rate of about €25 for the transfer.
Flight
If you are flying into Rome (FCO), you can take a regional train inside the airport, called Regionale Veloce, which connects to the Roma Termini station in about 30 minutes. At this point, you can take the fast train (with Trenitalia or Italo) from the Roma Termini train station to the Florence Santa Maria Novella train station. The fast train takes about 1.25 hrs.
