Savannah and Jake met downtown SLO, during Savannah's 4th year and Jake's extra 5th year quarter at Cal Poly. Friends Shasta and Christian are credited for bringing the two friend groups together one night at Bulls Tavern. Unknown to Savannah, the two went on their first "date" at Tognazzini's Dockside in Morro Bay. Even though Savannah already had a job lined up back in Chico, Jake asked Savannah to be his girlfriend up in Lake Almanor over the 4th of July weekend. The two dated long distance for almost 3 years, back and forth from SLO to Durham and lots of other fun places. Savannah moved back to SLO in June of 2024, after securing a new job in Templeton. Jake proposed on their 4 year anniversary date up in Lake Almanor. The two are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together and cannot wait to celebrate their marriage with you!
