Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible, but if you're not able to respond immediately that's okay. We would greatly appreciate it if you could complete your RSVP by April 15th at the latest. You can complete your RSVP online using this website's menu.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please do not arrive any earlier than 3:30 pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 pm.

Can I bring anyone with me?

Answer

We are delighted to have you join us for our special day. Please be aware that your invitation is for a certain number of seats only, and we are unable to accommodate additional guests. Upon navigating to the RSVP tab above you can enter your name, and there you can see the names of the guests we expect in your party. If we are expecting you may bring a plus-one to the wedding there will be a "Guest" listed. Please enter their full name when completing the RSVP.

May I take photos/videos at the wedding ceremony or reception?

Answer

We ask that you please allow our professional photographer and videographer to handle this aspect. During the ceremony we will request that all phones be powered down and put away for its entire duration. Phones are of course permitted during the cocktail hour and reception, but we hope that you'll keep them to a minimum and enjoy the moment.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for, but if you wish to give something, we kindly ask for a monetary gift instead of a physical one. If you click the "Registry" link above you can make a donation electronically, but there will also be a drop-box at the wedding for cards.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Garden Party attire. For masculine options wear a suit (with or without a tie), sport jacket, or button-down shirt with slacks or chinos (no tuxes, no jeans, please). Feminine options include floor-length or knee-length dresses, and dressy separates, wraps, or jumpsuits. Colors, floral patterns, and light fabrics are welcome! Needless to say, please avoid wearing white as that color is reserved for the bride.

Where can I stay? Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We did not reserve a hotel block for this wedding. However, if you check the Travel page using the menu on this website you can see a list of our recommendations which are within a 15-20 minute drive of the venue.

How do I get to the wedding? Is there parking at the venue? Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotels?

Answer

Laurel Hall is easy to drive to and within the city of Indianapolis. A gate code will be required to enter, and that code will be distributed to guests the week of the wedding. Laurel Hall offers 60 designated parking spots for all guests, vendors, etc. Additional vehicles may overflow into street parking. Carpooling is highly recommended. A shuttle will be provided in the evening from Laurel Hall to the north side of Indianapolis. Rides will be available at 900 pm and 1015 pm.

What is the address of the wedding ceremony and reception venue? Is it wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Laurel Hall (5395 Emerson Way, Indianapolis, IN 46226). Designated areas for the ceremony and reception are wheelchair accessible. However, if you wish to explore other parts of the venue, some may not be.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, we will have an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception.

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, there should be an option to mention any dietary needs when you RSVP. We will have vegetarian and dairy free options during the cocktail hour and dinner.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, all drinks will be covered for our guests. Please be responsible, do not drink and drive.

What time will the reception end?

The reception ends at 11 pm.
