Rylee was just starting at CMU when the Annual 28th Street Metro cruise was happening (2020). Her Mom (Tammy) was at this event, and Jake and his buddy were there as well. As luck would have it, Tammy was being social and making friends and mentioned to Rylee that there were two young gentlemen that were single. So, Tammy played matchmaker and connected Jake and Rylee with each other's contact information. That next weekend was their first date, and the rest was history.

May 4th 2024, Jake popped the question to Rylee at Millenium Park. The proposal was very intimate with just them. No surprises of a hidden photographer, just a tripod to capture Jake kneeling on one knee. Simple and sweet. Just how they like it
