FAQs

If you have any other questions, please contact Jake (9372392547) or me (513 680 6855). In leaving your home to come, we appreciate that you understand that we cannot guarantee your health. However, we have made changes to help with safety including reducing our guest size as well as some venue safety precautions shown below. We are also asking all guests to get COVID testing the week before the wedding if possible.
Question

How do we book the hotel?

Answer

The rate is $178 and there are kings and doubles available. The hotel is opening. Make sure you mention the Booth/Dotson wedding for the rate.

Question

What COVID precautions are you taking?

Answer

The Monastery is a large venue and there is plenty of room for social distancing. We will be separating people in groups according to family, couples, etc. Once we have the guest list, we will be working to ensure a safe space between guests. We will also provide masks and are asking that all our guests use the masks throughout the event. We will additionally have colored bracelets that will indicate how comfortable you are being in close proximity to others (red for keeping distance, yellow means ok to talk to others, green - no restrictions). We have not decided if we will or will not have dancing. We likely will have a few special dances but are not sure if we will have group dancing. More to come on this topic.

Question

I have special people in my life that are immunocompromised. Should I still come?

Answer

We are asking that all guests carefully consider the situation and make the best decision for themselves. We will not think less of you for staying home and know that you want to be there to celebrate with us. Of note, the average incubation period is 5 days with 97.5% of people presenting with symptoms in 11.5 days, to keep in mind for social distancing before and after the wedding.

Question

Is there anyone that should not come to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! If you have been around anyone with COVID in the last 14 days or have been in contact with someone with symptoms (cough, shortness of breath, lack of smell/taste, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea) or fever, we ask that you please do not come to the wedding. Additionally, please monitor yourself in the days proceeding the wedding and the day of with a thermometer. Anything greater than or equal to 100.4F considered a fever.

Question

What about the shuttle? Is there room for social distancing and cleaning between rides?

Answer

The shuttle service has confirmed that they will be cleaning the vans between rides.
