While I was going to school in Ames, my path crossed with Jake's via social media. Jake used the pick up line, "Hey, you have nice eyes. How was your weekend?" and rest is history!

On one of our first dates, Jake had taken me on a horse drawn carriage ride through Old Market in Omaha. On a date night in February, Jake and I went to Omaha, where he took me on another ride. The carriage pulled over at an area overlooking the river, where Jake and I got out to "look at the scenery". We started walking back to the carriage when I noticed Jake not following me, so I turned around to see him on one knee. I (obviously) said yes! We are very excited to celebrate with everyone!
