Same Day, Different Location--Due to COVID we have decided to move our wedding to our home, in Fife Lake, MI on August 29th at 2pm.

The short story is we met through friends. Here's the long story: Nicole's roommate, Kate came home one day and said, "I met a long haired guy that looks like your type." Soon after, we were set up and met at a bar in our college town. Nicole remembers that Jake's pick up line was "Your shirt matches your phone case." We talked about our mutual love of running and decided to run the next day together. The next day we met up, went for a run and then went to dinner. The following day Jake bought Nicole a bottle of Boone's Farm and took her for a canoe ride. We hung out every day after that... Eventually, we realized we were dating. Well, Nicole realized and told Jake that she wanted him to start calling her "his girlfriend." He said, "That's all?" Jake recreated our first two dates when he proposed on the bank of the Muskegon River, in our college town. We've been through some ups and downs as our relationship has grown through the years. We feel that the stars have truly aligned so that exactly 8 years from the day we met, we will officially be MARRIED. <3
