In the height of COVID, we both were on Hinge just trying to find somebody to talk to while battling isolation. Hinge suggested Molly to Jake and he thought "She's cute, let's swipe and see what happens." Sure enough, they matched in September, and Jake, keenly noticing that Molly was passionate about public health, asked her one thing she would change about public health. That hooked her in and that was that! Molly was on a trip with her dad for two weeks so they couldn't go on a real date until Halloween night. While everyone else was in costumes, Molly and Jake put on their cutest outfits (Molly in her neon yellow jacket) and met at Happy Camper in Wrigleyville. Right off the bat, Molly noticed that Jake's shoes matched his outfit and she breathed a sigh of relief. What originally was going to be a drink or two, turned into a 3 hour dinner date where they both texted their friends in the bathroom telling them how good the date was going. Aside from the blatant lie that Jake told Molly of him "not really being into sports," the date couldn't have gone better. As they left, they shared their first kiss after Molly walked with Jake to his Red Line station. Things went so well after the second date, that they had to have date 2.5 since they didn't want to wait so long for their scheduled third date. Since then, they've gone on countless adventures including Molly's goal of showing Jake something new in St. Louis every trip, Jake's first float trip on the Huzzah River, Molly’s first time to the Tree Farm, Molly's first trip (not really) to Disney World, moving in together, and falling more and more in love every day. We're now ready for the next adventure that we are excited to share with all of you on 3.6.26 as the boos finally say I do.
