Honestly? Because this felt more us. We wanted to say our vows in an intimate setting surrounded by the people closest to us — without the pressure of a 200-person event. We also made the intentional decision to put our energy (and our budget) toward building a life together — a home, travel, memories as a couple. A big wedding just wasn't what we needed to start that chapter.
Great question! We're having a small, intimate ceremony at a private home in Spicewood, TX, followed by a Wedding Tour — where we come to YOU! We'll be celebrating with friends and family in multiple cities, so no matter where you are, there's a good chance we're headed your way. Check the Events tab to find the celebration near you!
The Spicewood ceremony is a small, intimate gathering — we kept it intentionally cozy so we could be truly present with everyone in the room. If you received an invitation specifically for Spicewood, we are so glad you'll be there with us. If you didn't, please know it has nothing to do with how much you mean to us. Every celebration on our Wedding Tour is just as meaningful, and we cannot wait to be with you in your city.

We are! You can find our registry on Zola. Truly though, your presence at any of our celebrations is the greatest gift. If you do want to give something, we're also gratefully accepting contributions toward our home fund and honeymoon adventures.
