It all started with a night out at a little country bar called Wild West in 2020. Somewhere between the music and the memories, our paths crossed, but not quite in the way you’d expect. I reached out after the bar… and got left on read. Not exactly the start of a love story, right? Fast forward to 2021, at my best friend’s baby shower, fate stepped in again. I ran into Jake’s best friend and, naturally, had to ask the important question: “Is Jake single?” He was. So, I tried again—this time on Instagram… and once again, left on read. At this point, you’d think I’d take the hint. But a few months later, Jake liked my profile picture on Facebook, and I decided to give it one last shot. This time, he answered. He invited me to a bonfire, and from that night on, everything just clicked. Now, nearly five years later, we’ve built a life together with some of the best memories and our stubborn dog, Jax who keeps things interesting. What started as missed messages turned into something meant to be, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by all of our favorite people.
