What does Black Tie Optional entail?

Answer

Formal dress is preferred. Gentlemen may choose to wear a dark suit and tie, in lue of tuxedo. Ladies are invited to wear a floor-length gown or a cocktail dress. This event is considered formal, but not strictly black-tie.

Will there be alcohol provided?

Answer

This will be a dry wedding, thank you for taking part in making the day perfect!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will take place inside Stewart Chapel and Alexander Hall, but refreshements will be served on the patio of Alexander Hall in between the ceremony and reception. There is a walk from the chapel to the hall which will be a meander through the beautiful San Francisco Theological Seminary Campus.
