Just a 15 minute drive from the Connolly's property, Woodstock is the quintessential Vermont mill town. Nestled in the Green mountains along the Ottauquechee river, it was originally made famous by the Rockefeller family who set up their country residence here over a century ago. There is plenty of eating, drinking and shopping to be done in this historic town.
