Downtown Excelsior
Kendall grew up in Excelsior, MN. This cute down town area features a park, paddle board rentals, kayak rentals, shops, pubs, and restaurants that are lake front (Maynard’s is Kendall’s favorite!). If you are in town early or staying late for the holiday weekend this is a must see!
Mall Of America - Bloomington
Mall of America (M.O.A. for short) is a fun place to spend the day. Located near the airport with a theme park inside along with any shop you could ever imagine. P.S.- hey Californians, Minnesota has no sales tax.
Lake Minnetonka- Maynards Restaurant & or Fletchers Old Lake Lodge/The Wharf
This is the main lake in Kendall’s home town where she grew up as a kid, learned how to fish, and (as she got older) spent many summer days and nights with friends!! There are several boat rentals companies that do full and half day rentals. If too have the time we highly recommend a day on the lake! Check out Big Island to anchor for some sun or cruise to 2 of her favorite restaurants by boat (or car) Maynard’s and Fletcher’s.

Ice cream! Need we say more. Arguable the best ice cream by the lake.. if you prefer custard check out Adele’s!
