We met during the summer of 2019 on a study abroad program through the University of Cincinnati, based in Europe. It was a two-month trip focused on earning a degree in International Business, where we took courses alongside students from all over the world. We ended up having a few classes together and even took a weekend trip to Sicily with some new friends we’d just met. As the weeks went on, we found ourselves talking more and more—and on the very last day of the trip, we decided to go on our first date in Brussels, Belgium. After that dinner, we’ve talked every single day since.
