Jake is kind, funny, and incredibly smart, with a way of making Katy feel loved every single day. He is always there to support her — ready with a reassuring hug whenever her brain goes into overdrive (especially during wedding planning!). Jake always has time for anyone in need and treats Katy’s family as his own already. He has an unmatched ability to make Katy feel like the most beautiful person in the world. As discovered when Jake & Katy moved into their first home together, Jake is also a master of flat-pack furniture, with far more patience than Katy! She can’t wait to marry her best friend.

Bride
Katy is a beautiful, vibrant and energetic person who keeps Jake at bay. She’s kind and caring in so many ways when life gets tough. Katy definitely ensures Jake can be awake by midday following a wild night of drinks! Jake knew she was the one from the moment he laid eyes on her. Fun fact - Katy extremely fancies the drummer for Paper Daisies… yes I wrote this (Jake)
Josh
Best Man
Josh is Jake’s older brother. Being the more wiser of the two, doesn’t stop Josh knowing how to keep the party flowing. He always looks with a keen eye to share a joke with Jake but deep down he’s expressing his brotherly love. Josh is also the loving and caring father of the Best Boy Theo.
Jenny
Maid of Honor
There was never any question about the Maid of Honour. Katy's twin sister Jenny has been her best friend since day one, and Katy truly wouldn’t be the person she is today without her love and care. Jenny is always there to help, and when she’s not supporting us with wedding plans, she’s a loving and devoted mum to flower girl Millie.
Dan
Groomsman
Dan is Jake’s long term best friend, guitarist and front man to their band Paper Daisies. He certainly knows how to neck a few tequilas. Be sure to keep him awake!
Ben
Groomsman
A best friend and rhythm keeper for Jake and Paper Daisies. Ben has a warm heart and will be sure to tell you many stories of Jake.
Leanne
Bridesmaid
Best friend of the bride for over 10 years, Leanne has bravely endured all of Katy's questionable hair and outfit choices. Leanne is funny, fearless, and always ready to make everyone laugh. She’s the queen of makeup, who taught the Bride and the rest of their friends how to perfect eyeliner and false lashes since the age of 15. Leanne is cheerleader to all her friends, always in their corner when you need her most.
Sam
Bridesmaid
Sam, the bride’s sister, enjoys caravaning and boating in Devon, where her best friend Nellie the Cocker Spaniel loves to pop on her life jacket and join in for a speedy ride around the bay! Sam is always up for a walk to the local pub for a neck oil or two, much to the groom’s delight!
Shell
Bridesmaid
Shelley, Katy’s sister and bridesmaid, loves all things sea turtle–themed, long walks with family dog Roxy, and spending time with her boys James and Alfie. After a busy day helping husband Ant and looking after everyone, she’s always up for a well-earned cider or two.
Millie
Flower Girl
Millie, niece to Katy, is our beautiful flower girl. Her cheeky laugh and radiant smile are enough to brighten anyone’s day. When she’s not playing with bubbles or sharing out her stickers, she’s busy being the best dressed in town — usually twinning with her Mum, Jenny.
Theo
Best Boy
Theo is Jakes’s nephew. With his cute charms and ear-to-ear smile Theo will certainly steal everyone’s heart. Baring a resemblance to Jake’s name Theo Jacob Mills he also shares his love for blue lights, fast cars and of course trains.
Dave
Father of the Bride
Dave, father of the bride, is the definition of dependable. When he’s not chopping logs or maintaining his fish tank at home, you’ll find him out flying his model helicopters. Always ready to lend a hand or offer a bit of wise advice, no problem is ever too big for Dave — he’ll always help however he can. Katy can never thank him enough for the constant love, care, and support he’s given her throughout her life. She can’t think of anyone better to walk her down the aisle.
Gael
Mother of the Bride
Katy’s mum, Gael, is the perfect mix of mum and best friend. She’s given her family a childhood full of love and support, and now she’s a wonderful grandma to flower girl Millie and Katy’s nephews James and Alfie. As the mother of two sets of twins — four girls! — she’s mastered the art of multitasking. Known for her famous apple pies, there’s always a queue when she bakes. Without Gael’s nudge to get Katy out of the car on her first date with Jake, we might not be celebrating today!
Suzanne
Mother of the Groom
Being the mother of the Groom and Best Man isn’t an easy task. Raising two boys that caused carnage on most days is something Suzanne deserves recognition for. With a hand always stretched out in times of need and arms open wide at any given moment gives Suzanne the heart of gold any son could ask for. A special mention to John her ever loving husband and role model for the Groom.
