After growing up *maybe* ten minutes apart for the first 18 years of their life, Katie and Jake both moved back to their home towns in their late twenties and took to a dating app to hopefully meet someone. Thankfully the internet gremlins matched them up, they had their first date (which Jake wants everyone to know Katie was late to) and it was forever from there. Jake and Katie started a habit of walking the lakes early on in their relationship and so it was only fitting that Jake chose a sunny, beautiful spring morning as they started their walk to ask Katie to marry him - and since you're reading this, she said yes!
