When should I book my flight? We recommend booking as early as possible to secure the best prices. Most guests book 3–6 months in advance. Which airport should I fly into? Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in San Juan is the closest and most convenient airport. Do I need a passport to travel to Puerto Rico? If you are a U.S. citizen, no passport is needed—Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory. International guests will need a valid passport. How do I get around in Puerto Rico? We recommend renting a car with pick-up and drop-off at the SJU airport. Uber is also available in San Juan and is an affordable way to get around.
Where should I stay? The best areas to stay are Old San Juan, El Condado, and Isla Verde. These are close to the wedding venues, the airport, restaurants, and nightlife. Do you have a hotel block? We don’t have a formal hotel block, but we’ve listed recommended hotels and areas for Airbnbs under the ‘Travel’ section.
What should I wear? The dress code is semi-formal. We kindly request for guests to refrain from wearing dark brown and moss green as these are the colors of the wedding party attire. Are the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors? Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. The cocktail party will be held in an indoor patio space.
What time should I arrive at the ceremony? Please plan to arrive by 2:30 PM so you have time to get seated before the ceremony begins at 3:00 PM sharp. Will transportation be provided between the ceremony and reception? Transportation will not be provided. The drive from the church to the reception venue takes about 10–15 minutes. The church has ample parking with security on site, and the venue offers street parking nearby.
Do you have a gift registry? We don’t have a traditional registry. Instead, if you’d like to give a gift, we would be so grateful for contributions toward our travel fund, honeymoon fund, new home fund, or moving fund. Your love and presence at our wedding truly mean the most to us!
What should I do during my free time? Check out our Things to Do section for recommendations on beaches, activities, and nightlife. And don’t forget to stop by a panadería—any local bakery will have yummy, affordable breakfast!
